“Vincenza runs a very professional mobile Raku workshop service.
Vincenza was a delight to work with, always conscious of health and safety and running a session that met the needs of the diverse needs of participants.
Vincenza was very organised and helped me to develop promotional flyers and social media promotion.
There was nothing but high praise from participants on the day and I look forward to working with Vincenza again to run future Raku workshops”

“Vincenza’s full day Raku firing workshop with the Senior School at Montessori Melbourne Brighton Campus was excellent and I would recommend her mobile raku workshop to other Art educators and ceramic enthusiasts.

All students from Year 7 – 9 were engaged from the onset as her knowledge and expertise was excellent. The workshop linked with a number of curriculum areas as the students participated in cultural activities such as a traditional tea ceremony whilst the Raku firing was in full swing; Vincenza also spoke about the technical aspects of the firing such as oxidation and reduction processes, which linked with their science curriculum.  At the end of the workshop, students were super excited to see the amazing assortment of glistening metallic greens, red and blue raku glazes on their own ceramic pots.  I would definitely recommend this workshop to Art Educators looking to engage adolescent students in the Arts curriculum, as well as to anyone interested in primitive pottery firing methods.

It is an outstanding workshop that students will remember long after the kiln is transported away.”
